John Bahakal reported that there were 90 registered officials plus 12 that needed to complete their certifications. There have been requests to hold officials clinics throughout the state,ยจ and the date and locations will be forthcoming.
He also gave out certificates to the following for their continuing and outstanding services as officials:

Training and certification of officials is central to USATF's goal of ensuring fair and safe competitive opportunities for athletes. As an official gains experience, exposure to correct officiating practices, and additional training, USATF recognizes this skill development through progressive levels of certification: Association to National to Master.
